Last night we decided to head back to the Forum Mall to catch a movie for a bit of something different. We wandered the mall just window shopping and found a hair salon/spa where I got a paraffin wax pedicure I was in need of from all the walking we've been doing.
It was definitely different than the experiences of pedicures I've had in the states but it left my heels so very soft and renewed.

We then caught a movie (Tower Heist with Ben Stiller- very funny) and were seated in the "silver class" movie section. Apparently there is also a "gold class" movie ticket which involves large recliners and blankets. The movie at the time we needed to go didn't offer this but did have the largest seat I've ever seen in a theater. Overall it was about the same experience as home except that the movie was as loud as a rock concert, and half way through they stopped for a five minute intermission where everyone goes to get refills on drinks and popcorn. It's only a matter of time before advertisers in the states realize this will make customers buy more and implement these intermissions for food and commercials.
RaOne: not the movie we saw however this Hindi movie is all the rage right now. Something about a boy's superhero come to life. This actor is currently in every commercial and billboard. He's everywhere!
After the movie, it was rather late and we decided to take a rickshaw back to the hotel since we were so close but too far to walk. It was much less scary than I imagined, mainly because you're riding on a moped engine and not going at high speeds compared to in a car where it's best to not look at what's going on in front of the car you're riding in.
This picture is horribly dark but the best I could do while going down the road in the dark and rain. Next time I'll be sure to get somethign better.
Finally, related to my last post I found this at Commercial Street in a little shop. The picture dosn't do it justice as you have to see it and hear it for yourself. Any guess as to what it is?
This evening we are heading to UB City for a bit of shopping, relaxing and dinner. Hope the rain holds off for the trip. Making plans for next weekend and considering a trip to Coorg, a 5 or 6 hour drive into the mountains that I'm told will be well worth it!
Wow! What a trip. I bet the above picture is a gong or bell. Your uncle H said if you get the chance to go to the contryside or mountains go. You will never forget it.
